I’m not sure how many manga-ka have visited Wisconsin (maybe Madison?), but if you read the sidebars and extras that appear in many series, artists often write about the places they visited while writing the story. You might be surprised! As for your other questions…

1. Seven Seas hasn’t announced the release date for volume two of Moonlight Meow. My guess would be the summer of 2008. (There’s often a one-year lag time between volumes of their original English language manga.)

2. Volume 9 of Ouran High School Host Club was released in July. The tenth volume will be released in February 2008. (The English version has caught up to the Japanese, hence the delay.)

3. As far as I know, there isn’t a Vampire Knight anime, as the series is still very new. Given it’s popularity, however, I wouldn’t be surprised if one goes into production soon.
