It is hard to resist manga at only $2. I really shouldn’t have bought the ones I did. I have such a HUGH backlog already…Well, at least I’ll always have something to read.

I put a lot of stock in Brigid and David’s reviews, so I’ll definitely be giving Train + Train another try.

Katherine, I do hope you’ll give TRAIN + TRAIN another try. It just gets better as it heads toward its pump-your-fist-in-the-air climax in Volume 6. BTW, it’s been nominated to this years YALSA Great Graphic Novels for Teens list.

Wow! Thanks for that HUGE plug! I stumbled on the manga outlet when I was looking for manga based in Akihabara and found “Maniac Road” there. And then there was the sequal “Pretty Maniacs” that I had to get, and then I found “Imperfect Hero”. I love Tokusatsu too. I know I’ll be going back. There just so much undiscovered gold there.

Only on title for me this week. “Bride of the Water God”. Your review really has built some anticipation up in me for it!

I kinda wish now I’d picked up “King of Thorns”. I’ve never watched “Lost”, but “Andromeda Strain” and “Jurassic Park” are two of my all time favorite movies! It’s really starting to sound interesting now.
