I knew I was forgetting something — I read Assassin Swordsmith too. I agree with Diana, it was pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised.

Keeping up the Agreeing With Diana theme: Shola, you should definitely be reading Fables. The first trade’s OK, kind of bland, but it really builds its own universe and every trade is better than the previous and does stuff story-wise no other title has done.

Also, Diana and Jon are never in the podcast together anymore. Are you guys like the Biggie and Tupac of comic review podcasts?

ROFL…nah, it’s just been a timing thing. Everybody’s back this weekend to do it, then we’ve got a very dramatic evolution of the podcast lined up that you might love or hate. We’ll see. As for Fables, there was this SMOKING hot woman reading Fables on the Hollywood/Sunset bus last week. I decided at that point that I will now buy fables… ;)

Being that my sentiments are pretty inline with everything said on the podcast I’ll just jump in with backstory on Olvier.

Spoilers (Old ones but still)
Awhile back Invincible was sent word from his father and when he went to meet with him he found out that his father had re married and spawned a son. That son being Oliver. Needless to say things got bad and Invincible ended up having to take Oliver back with him to Earth.
End Spoilers
And there’s the short version catch up.
