Clips from the San Diego Comic Con screening of Kick Ass appearing on the internets was inevitable. You’ve already heard the buzz about how faithful (read: violent) director Matthew Vaughn’s adaptation is. You’ve also doubtlessly read that creator/writer Mark Millar (and co-creator John Romita, Jr.) is working closely with Vaughn on the project. What’s impossible to prepare for is how closely these movie clips accurately capture the incredibly popular funnybook.

If a concoction of Millar, nerd buzz, and pre-teens eviscerating the underworld sounds appealing, check out our ninja’d clips and tell us what you think!

Check out all four clips:
· Intro
· Kick-Ass takes on a couple punks (above)
· Hit Girl in training with Big Daddy (Nicholas Cage)
· Kick Ass saved by Hit Girl
