At this extremely stage, the most enjoyment we’re going to get out of this Disney/Marvel team-up is playing the game of imaginary crossovers. But while most of us are busy mocking them, a few truly talented folks are mocking them up:

Funny or Die and Geek Tyrant gets props for reminding me of this old stinker. No big buildup necessary. This is the best fight scene ever committed to film. You thought Weng-Weng was awesome? Cut out your tongue:

We’ll keep this one short. Peter Cullen is possibly the luckiest voice actor from the 80’s right now. If there’s one person who shouldn’t have so much as an unkind thought for Michael Bay, baby, it’s Peter Cullen. That’s MR. Peter Cullen, ie, the voice of Optimus Prime.

Not only does the guy get a revived career, an awesome monologue in the biggest movie of the summer, and is possibly the greatest cross-generational badass of our toon-time…he gets to do a bit part on Letterman. Congrats Peter Cullen.
