Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt on typos!

Also thanks for telling me an end date, since the Uniqlo story employee I asked didn't know anything about the anniversary promotion, even as she closed my bag with a sticker reading "50th Anniversary" on it in English.

The Touch designs had mostly sold out as of Monday 5/5/08, they were down to the yellow Touch shirts. The better design is still in the rotating display behind glass. (D'oh!)

They had re-stocked the Golgo 13s and added new designs, including a fishing manga T-shirt, "Tsurikichi Sanpei"... which I bought.

Crud, I have to budget for this until next year!

Just a small correction which was probably a typo: the t-shirts are promoting the 50th Anniversary of Shogakukan's Shonen Sunday and Kodansha's Shonen Magazine, not Shueisha's Shonen Jump (which serializes most of the series wildly popular among the foreign mainstream).

The promotion will go on until March 2009 according to the Japanese website, however the shirts appear to be available as limited editions, as some t-shirt designs have been marked sold out on the site.

I'm probably going to check out the Uniqlo in Soho either tonight or tomorrow because the Touch t-shirt I wanted is finall out in Japan. =P

I went to London today and the huge Detective Conan posters in Uni Qlo caught my eye. As much as I love the manga, I was completely baffled as to why they were there! This seems pretty cool, I'm a little dissapointed I didn't actually go into the store. Do you know how long the promotion is going on for? ^^
