By: PCSbot

Uncanny X-Men #487 Brings The Return Of Storm!

After the shocking events of the last issue, the Uncanny X-Men are no longer the same as they head into all new, all different storyline! In Uncanny X-Men #487, one of their greatest members returns for a brand new story arc—and her name is Storm! Fresh off her appearances in Fantastic Four and Black Panther, the mutant master of the weather rejoins her old teammates to investigate a rash of murders in the Morlock tunnels. Who would kill these innocent mutants? And how does this tie into the big X-Men event coming this fall? Writer Ed Brubaker and artist Salvador Larroca know, as they kick off the new “The Extremists” storyline with a bang you won’t want to miss!

And don’t miss the hardcover collection of Ed Brubaker’s first year on Uncanny X-Men, along with Young Gun artist Billy Tan, coming this July in the form of the Uncanny X-Men: Rise & Fall Of The Shi’ar Empire HC, collecting Uncanny X-Men #475-#486 in one must-have volume that reveals just how the team has been changed forever!

The end is near…but is it for the Morlocks, the X-Men, or both? Find out this June in Uncanny X-Men #487!

The female starjammer has joined the x-men? after lady mastermind, sentinel, mystique, this is another great character to join the crew!! Marrow has been back in x-factor, and hollow (penance) in the loners!!

Damm, i love to have these crazy women in x-books! It used to be jean, storm, rogue and psylocke together! Wouldn’t it be nice to have a whole team just out of women!! for a while??

I dunno…they’ve done this killers in the Morlock tunnels a lot in the past. Maybe Brubaker has a fresh new take on this

Love having Hepzibah on the team though (”Crazy boy kill emperor?”)

Its funny it seems like yet again Marrow leaves a black spot in her character history here.
There are many unexplained parts about her character some are the dissapearance from X-men, the time between Weapon X and Generation M and now what happend to her between Generation M and X-Factor 18.

Because in Gen-M she said that she would protect the Morlocks with everything she had until the bitter end.
But somehow she suddently returns as a villian in X-Factor and the Morlocks go on a killing spree!

What happend? Do they really want to prevent her from meeting her old teammates under all cost?

Anyway i already guessed that Marrow won’t be part in it. Maybe Brubaker wanted to work with the lesser known Morlocks so he didn’t picked up Callisto or Marrow for this arc.
