i’d be curious to hear what people’s feeling are on this crossover. i bought the 1st ish because i dug the supreme power series (although squadron supreme is a mystery to me) and the ultimates (not particularly ultimate FF though), but i was pretty disappointed by it. i mean, great artwork for sure, but since when do these crossovers need such an elaborate backstory? an entire issue before the other team actually shows up? i was all planning on buying this issue for the fight at least, and i probably still will, but then i notice: issue two of NINE? so how many issues do we have to get through before we get something other than the same old ultimate characters doing the same old smartass bendis dialogue and excessive plotting? we’ll see how this issue plays out, but i am not optimistic. this is not exactly shaping up to be the fun-time superhero bash it should be. dc-marvel crossovers generally dont do it for me, and i guess thats why i was hoping this would be different since all the characters are a part of the marvel stable.

I agree. Let’s hope they do something different from the normal formula. This series has potential, lets see how Marvel rides this out.
