A new trailer of Clash of The Titans has been released. The 1981 classic is being re-made for a 2010 release. The Krakken, mechanical owls, greek guys in loincloth, and Cerberus (a three-headed dog that will destroy your pit bull) is nowhere to be seen. You CAN see the trailer, of course, right after the jump.
So, the new Kick-Ass trailer was posed to hit the interwebs this Friday, but appears to have been leaked a litte bit early. If you’ve been waiting to see more since the Comic-Con 2009 leaked clips, definitely peep this.
Roland Emmerich and company, those laugh-a-minute guys that brought us Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow, and the 30,000 BC, offer the movie of the year. This trailer, however, spoofs that movie’s trailer.
For all of you salivating for Live action Ninja stuff, Japan’s Yoichi Sai’s cooked up a heaping helping! Kamui Gaiden is a live action film adaptation of Sanpei Shirato’s Legend of Kamui manga series from the 60’s. Ken’ichi Matsuyama (Death Note) plays the lead role of the rogue ninja being hunted by his own clan.
It also stars Koyuki from Tom Cruise’s The Last Samurai. That aside, this looks to be the honest to goodness real thing, for those whose tastes extend past Isaac Florentine’s upcoming Ninja and G.I. Joe. Anime heads will remember this story from the classic film Dagger of Kamui. You can also check out pics and such (if you read Japanese) here.
Incident at Shinjuku might have you questioning if that’s Jackie Chan in this Hollywood-style big-budget thriller about Chinese and Japanese crime mobs. This looks amazing, and there’s not a hint of Chan-comedy in sight.
We don’t know if this is based on the Goemon: Legend of the Mystical Ninja game or not (although there’s probably a much richer Japanese mythology that goes far beyond the game), but this epic Japanese fantasy trailer looks HOT.
