Wii is a fun system, strong for groups. Great for children and raking in money for casual gaming.

However Minesweeper isn't going to be getting any headlines just because it's one of the most played Windows games ever. Not to mention Solitaire.

There's a difference between modern video games, and casual games. The Wii brings casual gaming to a modern front and with that brings new blood to gaming. However a great gaming system it is not.

I give kudos to Nintendo for being different and bold, but they are going down a road that Sega did once upon a time. Hopefully Nintendo doesn't fade away slowly with it's gimmicks.

Have to agree with Smith on that one. My Wii only comes out to play when the wife is gaming or when people are over. My PS3 gets hardly any love at all. Only reason I've been using it for any extended time recently is for reviewing Persona 3 (which made me stop reviewing Blue Dragon). Pretty sad when you use a next gen console for mostly playing last-gen titles...

Yeah, but if you had all three consoles right now, what would you be playing? The Wii is fun for parties, but I spend 95% of my gaming time and money on my 360.
