For only $33 million, Warners gets the Mortal Kombat franchise*, Joust, Spy Hunter and more!

Joust was cool back in the day, but we’re picturing something that will either have a huge special effects budget, or NO sfx budget– either seems likely — and will be bad regardless.

Spy Hunter, on the other hand, might have promise.

*We finally caught MK: Annihilation on TV last night. It was so very not good.
