But since the star of the series was obviously Calie, we decided to focus more on her, and leave what happened to Johnny while he was in Wonderland something that would be explained in bit and pieces later in the series, which played better into the original vision of the story being about the daughter of Alice, and her journey and return from Wonderland and what effects and consequences that would have on her, her loved ones, and the world in general around her.”
