EA’s gearing up for the relaunch of SSX and they’re taking us along for the ride with a new segment of videos titled Uber Mondays. The first SSX video short showed off the main man Mac and this week the team brings longtime alum Zoe Payne front and center showing off her extensive bag of tricks.

EA has dropped the newest trailer for February’s upcoming release of SSX. This newest trailer is actually just a remixing of the previous trailer, but splashed with accolades galore. Check it out!

SSX releases on PS3 and 360 on February 28 in the US and March 2 in the UK.

In case you’re wondering, the featured song is RUN-D.M.C’s It’s Tricky which was the original theme for 2001′s SSX Tricky for PlayStation 2. The classic hip-hop song gets the remix treatment by electronic music artist Pretty Lights.

I’ll give EA credit for stepping up and not putting out an unfinished product. EA has to ask its self “What’s next?” This delay is surely going to hurt EA in the short term and surely in the long run. You don’t delay a yearly title the week before release if there were no serious issues with it.

Just think about how major this really is. While EA hasn’t outright canceled NBA Elite I personally don’t think this title is going to be released this year. Not only have they invested (lost) Millions in producing this product. They have lost quite possibly Millions in marketing and advertising and sales.

There is sure to be some sort of financial penalty imposed by the NBA for them not getting the game out on time. Not to mention the commitments made to retailers such as GameStop/EB Games, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart etc. Where does EA go from here? Stay tuned as the story continues to take shape.
