As you may have noticed, Norimaro (self-proclaimed “James Bond of videogame and comic book babes”) has today’s Tuesday Teases up and it looks like a really light week for Marvel — but they still have the Page of the Week..
While the bigger-than-usual Image & Indie set features an impressive array of Anna Mercury, Red Sonja, Vampirella, Soulfire (with a sweet Michael Turner cover even) — and more independent women, it’s this page from Marvel’s Uncanny X-Men: First Class #4 that takes the cake for me.
Written by Scott Gray with art by David Williams, the story sees Storm & Jean having a girls night out with Colleen Wing & Misty Knight. (I didn’t even know the X-girls were friends with the Daughters of the Dragon? But I suppose that’s the beauty of the continuity-free First Class world…)
Unfortunately Nightshade shows up, ruining the good times, and of course IT’S ON. While the rest of the ladies end up fighting random goons/bots, Storm goes after Nightshade and they up having a big punch-out on the docks, where the in-fight banter consists of Nightshade questioning Storm’s realness. Of course Ms. Munroe counters with the finishing blow, and the Kodak quotable:
Classic.
Check Norimaro’s Lovely Ladies for the remainder of your your regularly scheduled Tuesday Teases.

Yes, it’s a real Marvel comic, although I don’t think the First Class books are in the real Marvel U. Honestly not 100% sure…
