Publishers Weekly has a piece on the fundraising site Kickstarter, a site used by a growing number of cartoonists and other creative people to drum up funds for their work through their fans. Templar AZ creator Spike is prominently featured in the piece, as it talks about how she’s used it to raise money for her next project, Poorcraft: A Comic Book Guide to Frugal Urban and Suburban Living.
