Six More For Heroes: Season Two

Six more actors are joining NBC’s hit series when it returns this fall, including Barry Shabaka Henley (Heat, Miami Vice), Holt McCallany (Fight Club), Japanese pop star and actress Eriko Tamura, Lyndsy Fonseca, Dianna Agron, and David Anders (Alias).
Apparently, Anders will be playing the role of Takezo Kensei, the samurai warrior idolized by Hiro Nakamura throughout the latter half of season one. Last time I checked though, Anders was a smarmy-looking white dude, so I’m wondering what the angle is here.

i love anders. he was one of the best actors on alias and it had the best actors of any tv show in my opinion so thats saying alot. I have two guesses on the ethnicity issue:either kensie’s spirit will possess someone in the modern day or he’ll be an immortal shapeshifter who assumes the guise of a millionaire(c’mon, you have to have the rich hero mentor). heroes takes all the comic cliches and shines a new light on them so either of these are likely. or maybe he’s a kensie descendent and is only half white.
