Silent Hill Next-Gen Named and Dated

April 21st, 2008 by Howard Brown Bookmark this post diggdel.icio.usYahooMyWeb

Even though all eyes are on Metal Gear Solid 4 right now as Konami prepares for that launch, the firm has announced the name and release date for the latest Silent Hill title. Silent Hill: Homecoming will see release on both Xbox 360 as well as PlayStation 3 this September.

Homecoming marks the sixth story in the Silent Hill mythos, and introduces a new protagonist to the mysterious town. The story follows Alex Shepherd, returning to his hometown of Shepherd’s Glen to investigate the sudden disappearance of his brother and the strange occurrences taking place around town. Shepherd unravels a tale that takes him from his boyhood home to the fog-shrouded streets of Silent Hill, facing the darkest horrors of his soul to find his missing brother.
