It’s been a slow day of trolling around the Internet looking for timewasters and inspiration, but I think I’ve found both in the website http://www.howitshouldhaveended.com/video.php. I love it! How do you people not tell me about this stuff sooner?! 

I have a suspicion that I am late to the game on this, but if you already know about How It Should Have Ended (or HISHE) then you probably agree that it is one of those perfect storms of creativity, comedy, and pure geekdom.

The creation of Daniel Baxter and Tommy Watson, HISHE is one of those concepts that you’ll kick yourself for not coming up with first, but the creators and their team of collaborators do a good enough job with the execution that you’ll quickly  squash any sour grapes and just enjoy the fun.

HISHE is an animation series that offers exactly what the name implies–the HISHE take on what would have happened in your favorite films had they been in charge, and they do this via short cartoons (essentially, animated trailers for their alternate reality vision).

The latest video up on the HISHE site is their take on the Terminator franchise, where they decide the only logical course for the story would be for Skynet to target the one true inventor of time travel, leading to the ultimate mash-up journey back to the futre.
