Thanks to kungfucimema.com for the info!

Veteran martial arts actor Shek Kin (AKA Shih Kien), best known for his role as “Mr. Han” in Bruce Lee’s ENTER THE DRAGON died this morning at the age of 96.

Shek was one of Hong Kong’s earliest generation of martial arts stars from the 50s and ’60s. Although he appreaed in many martial arts films over the years, he is probably best known to Western audiences as the villainous “Mr. Han” from ENTER THE DRAGON. Shek studied many Northern Kung Fu styles and was also known as the lead villain in the WONG FEI HUNG film series opposite star Kwan Tak-hing.

My sad heart beats for the passing of Shiek Kien. I met Master Kien at my Si-Gung John SS Leong’s Kung Fu Exhibitions in Seattle, Washington. Where Master Kien was one of the nicest, fit, trained individuals I met there. He will be missed!!!

Praise, speed, clarity to our higher power!
