I think they're probably just replacement Skrulls and that they'll all be killed next issue anyway.

I'm curious as to how long Pym has been a Skrull. He certainly seemed in character in New Avengers and in the Initiative. If you can read someones thought balloons then I guess they'd have to be a Skrull without knowing it. It's more likely that he was replaced shortly before the events here, as Susan Storm certainly was.

Hey guys,

Great roundtable even if I missed the BSG references (I know nothing about the current show beyond the fact that I think Grace Park is hot). I didn't get to respond to this earlier as I had to sit down and read SI a few times first. But I definitely agree that the retro heroes or whatever they are is a bad idea which seems to unnecessarily complicate what was a pretty basic & cool (if not original) concept -- that aliens are amongst us and the fun of guessing who can be trusted and who can't. Obviously Bendis has some big plans with that whole thing and we'll have to wait and see if he works it out.

Looking forward to more thoughts on SI in future roundtables!

hey guys
maybe the characters who appeared out of the ship are just Skrulls intended to replace earth heroes
in X-men issue 89 written by Alan Davis, we discovered rthat skrull trained to take place of earth heroes, even dead ones.
so maybe those few out of the ship are just skrulls who got lost along the way, or who arrived too late (seing as they all sport old costumes)

Sentry brought her back to life, I think. She's alive, at any rate, post-Ultron.
