Routh’s Superman To Lead The JLA?

Moviehole cites a handful of industry insiders, claiming that Warner Bros. is at the very least entertaining the idea of incorporating Superman, as played by Brandon Routh, into the Justice League of America film that is currently in development. Warner Bros. was already apprehensive about fast-tracking a sequel to Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns, given its commercial disappointment. The delay on its production is now certain, with Singer signed on to direct a World War II thriller for United Artists.

Given the massive undertaking required to do a Justice League film. . . .uh, justice, the inclusion of Superman certainly couldn’t hurt. The last thing any fan would want is a JLA film without at least one heavy-hitter. Anyone care about the FOX Avengers animated series? And let’s not forget the infamous JLA TV pilot. . . . .actually, we should forget it!
