First Look at Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Starks

Just Jared has posted some pics from the set of the Jon Favreau-directed Iron Man. Downey Jr. cleans up nicely as Tony Starks, I guess? And not that I care, but I didn’t even know Gwyneth Paltrow was in the movie (as Pepper Potts).

I like that they went with the goatee, although the Howard Hughes ‘stache would have been just as nice.
Like the goatee, hate Paltrow. Quite possibly the blandest, most overrated actress they could have chosen for the role. The Hulk and Ghost Rider are the only two recent comic book movies to cast appealing female leads.
