With the rumors running wildly that Nintendo will unveil the Wii successor at the E3 conference this year as well as the firm announcing that they are reducing the price of Wii Sports Resort and Wii Party to $39.99, some US based retailers are taking matters into their own hands. Outlets such as GameStop, Target, Toys ‘R’ Us, Best Buy and Amazon are reducing the price of the Wii console from $199.99 to $169.99.

Other US retailers have left their pricing structures unchanged.
