Project Runway Season 4 Final Collection Pix

The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly unveils pictures from the Project Runway collections shown at Fashion Week. Here are some bad scans for your perusal — click to enlarge.
Strangely, we’re down to the finale and I don’t have anyone I’m rooting for. Well naturally it would be awesome to see Chris win, but I think we all know it’s a longshot (even without reading Entertainment Weekly’s comments) for him to even get into the final 3.
Week after week I kept waiting for someone likable to emerge, but it never happened. Christian is way too full of himself and his stuff, while edgy, is too “avant garde” to be worn in every day life. I can picture Rami, being the Uli of this season, having a really nice collection — the difference being I genuinely liked Uli. So I guess that leaves Jillian, who makes fierce coats but that’s about it. So yeah, I’ll watch the finale but sadly I could really care less who wins at this point.

My heart just wasn’t in it this season. Even uber-becky Heidi Klum couldn’t hold my attention.,

I’d say every episode was enjoyable, and the challenges were good across the board, but a show just isn’t as enjoyable if you don’t have anyone to root for. I’m not sure I even had anyone to root *against* (and no, constantly hoping for Ricky’s crying face to get off my TV doesn’t count). Ah well. Better luck next season

Actually, this has been my favorite season of PR in the past three years, second only to season 1 which I don’t think can ever be topped. I haven’t really rooted for anyone since Jay, but I adore Christian. I think he’s precious and more importantly seriously talented and a deep well of untapped potential. The point of an avant-garde collection is to stretch artistically and draw attention. The pieces can later be adapted into something more wearable. I don’t think wearability is a valid argument against going avant-garde for the final collection.

Hey dharma, I can see what you’re saying about avant garde. And you’re certainly not in the minority liking him since he did win Fan Favorite.

Bravo ran a PR marathon today and after watching some of the episodes for a second time, I’m liking Christian more and more simply because he is very talented and has incredible potential. I find his personality exhausting though and would tire of his whining quickly if I had to listen to it day in, day out. We’ll see, Jillian could surprise everyone. She is meticulous but lacks a certain flare. Rami with the draping . . . old and tired. Nobody drapes like Rami!! :)

I agree with you on Christian, Brother J. Though he’s talented, he’s way too cocky…. but not cocky in the Santino way, or the Wendy way… just cocky in the young and naive way.
The only reason I’m watching the show now is because my uber-average-man-dude husband can do a fierce ;-> imitation of the little guy.

There should have been a Final 4 this season also. Chris March is wonderful. I only got to see 3 outfits from his collection. Now I will be forever thinking about what I did’nt see.
From what I did see, I feel there was more good stuff to be seen.
I feel the fashion world would have excepted him with open arms. All of the designers are great but I just wanted to see what else Chris had in his collection.
Will he be able to show his entire collection at some point or will it be trashed.
By the way, Never would have known it was WEAVE. Makes you wonder what else the models are wearing these days.
