Ubisoft today announced plans to release the original Prince of Persia on Xbox Live Arcade. Titled Prince of Persia Classic, the title is a remake of the 1989 original created by Jordan Mechner. The game is being re-tooled to provide new character designs, animations and other effects. New traps, puzzles and enemies have been thrown in the mix as well.

Look for Prince of Persia Classic on Xbox Live Arcade early this Summer.
