Actually, JJ KIRBY debuted OMNI years ago in Wildstorm’s BACKLASH title.
The disturbing thing is that someone came up with the idea to change his name from OMNI to BLACK HALO!..
Black Halo!!!???
It’s bad enough they got rid of a perfectly good name but they changed it to some corny “blaxploitation” name.

Yeah, I saw the name change in the book and was a bit confused by it, since the info I had read on the book never said anything about a name change. Didn’t know this was an older character, though. Thanks for that.
