Oh, that’s sweet! It doesn’t seem like it’s being released here yet, though. All I see is some collectible stylus they’re packaging with pre-orders of the game.

It’s really rare that it gets to be sold here, but honestly if they actually did a little research they will know that there are actually lots of American fans out there that would love for these kind of “special” edition DS.

You can order it from an import games retailer…but usually they run for a bit higher than regular DSes, but they come with the game I think.

So wait, I can buy that one and it will work with American versions of DS games? I thought it was like VCRs and the whole NTSC vs. PAL thing.

Believe it or not…DS can play any region! Isn’t that awesome? I bought the US DS and I just buy the JP games that I know we won’t get until months/years later. The DS is nifty…I wish the Wii was region-free too…

I think you can even change your JP DS as English default too. You get that option with the US version to change it to other languages. But yeah, no region lock on the DS.

hello my friend and I who live in the UK just purchased american versions of the game and work on the uk DS BUT what we would like to know is do you think it will work with an english version of Pokemon BR on an english WII .Cheers

I’m guessing from your usage of “english” here I’m assuming you’re referring to the EU version. The Wii has issues with region lock. So any Wii game you buy has to be specific to the region your Wii is, but of course this might not apply to DS connecting to the Wii.

Best case scenario: From what I know I don’t think it matters which DS version of Pokemon you have. It can be either JP, NA, EU or AU. I think you can still use your Pokemon on the Wii.

Worse case scenario: Nintendo wants to mess with us and they block the different region DS cartridges from working with your Wii because it has a different region code.

We can’t know for sure until we get the US Pokemon Battle Revolution to test out with my JP Pokemon Diamond near the end of June. I really hope that helped you some.

How do I open up Sunnyshore City? You need to go to Mt. Coronet’s south entrance via route 208. You will need surf, rock climb and rock smash. Also, this is where you will battle with Commader Jupiter, Mars and the boss Cyrus. I’m hoping you already freed the Legendary Trio or else you can’t pass through the sealed gate with their pictures on it. After you beat these three bosses, you will then have to fight Dialga (or Palkia). You will have to either defeat it for catch it. I recommend catching them because this will be your ONLY chance to catch a Dialga or Palkia. Please also make sure you have a LOT of Ultra balls (in Japanese they’re called Hyper balls). Dialga and Palkia are level 47 so I recommend being a little higher so you can withstand their attacks. After you beat Dialga or Palkia, go up pass the spot behind where you fought Dialga/Palkia to pick up the Adamant Orb/Lustrous Orb (respectively). This will boost up your new Legendary Pokemon.

Did you guys go to Veilstone City like Commander Jupiter said at Lake Aucity? She mentions that the Team Galactic HQ is there (that big black building you couldn’t get into) that’s where the Legendary Trio are held captive. You must go there to free them.

After you beat Cyrus and Saturn at the HQ and free the Trio, you will have to go to Mt. Coronet next. Unless you take care of business at Mt. Coronet the 8th gym will not open.

Please go to Veilstone City with the BIG building all the way north of town with spikes coming out from it’s side. You will see a Team Galactic grunt outside and when you talk to him he will runaway and drop the key to the warehouse. That is how you get into that building.

It answer to the questions about the Grunt mane in Mt.Coronet who wont move out of the way. all you have to do is come out of that cave the way you came in. rock climb to the west and keepin walkin to the west, at the very end there is a cave entrance. you must go that way first

I need some help plz. I have the 7th badge and I’m in Veilstone City. I got the Storage Key from the guy outside of the building but I still can’t get through that stupit door in the Galactic’s base.

I heard that some others have the same problem with me but somehow they solve it. I my problem again is that I have the storage key from the guy outside of the HQ but when I am trying to open the door in the building it says The door is locked. A special key is needed. and the only option in my bag for the key is cancel. What I am going to do?

Did you use the key the guy at the main building dropped when you talk to him, at the door where you find the HM02 (that teaches you fly) in the warehouse? The key he dropped should open up that door and it will allow you to go through the basement to get another key from another grunt.

but can someone please answer my question about that rgunt with no pokemon blocking the cave entrance? all the walkthroughs say that i have to bettle him but he has no pokemon! so what did you do?

YOU DO NOT need to fight this guy and you can’t go pass him UNTIL you beat Dialga, because that’s when the grunts will leave the mountain.

U go inside talk to the grunt and he says something like “quit following me & he leaves. WhEn he leaves leaves the storage key(NOT GALACTIC KEY!) U GO INSIDE. u open it with the key.then battle a few grunts.& now u reach the Hq near the poke centa.now u verse alot of grunts now.Then u beat evry one. u find a……GALATIC KEY!. then get out next go back in (not the way u came out)the entrance in da middle go in.den open da gate & eventually u beat cyrus and geta masta ball now goto mt.coronet.the painting is gone & ur on ur own now!

Can’t you just use the Masterball Cyrus gave you to capture Palkia/Dialga?

Yes you can, but there is only ONE master ball. Master ball is 100% capture rate I believe. I caught my Dialga using the ultra ball. You can try using dark ball at night on Dialga/Palkia I heard it works for some.

okay . i just got my game two days ago and i have gotten 4 gym badges. I talked to the grunt who was in front of the walktrough buliding to route 213 in pastoria city. He told me not to folow him and so on. Then he ran away and tyson (name can vary) showd up and i battled him and defeated him. I find it easier to start from either Oreburgh or Hearthome. If you start from Oreburgh, make sure your bike gears are on fast and go up that slope north of Oreburgh. Cave is then EAST. Surf, rock climb.
Start going left, then down, up the stairs and across the bridge, down stairs again, up stairs, across bridge, down stairs twice, up stairs and exit.
Go up the stairs.
There’s only one way to go in this cave. Go through the exit.

You’ll come out at snowy non-caveness. Either go up the stairs to avoid the grass or go through it if you don’t care, then rock climb. EAST to cave entrance.

If you did it right, you’re now in the waterfall section. Down the stairs, surf and waterfall.

There you go. Yay strategy guide! :]

P.S. I got Gyarados heaps before I found my dratini. It’s there, just keep fishing behind the waterfall (with super rod)

I cant open up/get into Valor Lake Front because of those 2 guys are blocking it..(Team Galantic i think)…

Then i followed the Team Galantic Grunt from Pastoria City (safari zone) into route 213 etc and i battled the blonde guy that turned up at the walk through (the guy i started out from Twin Leaf town with) after i followed the Grunt. I cant remember if i battled (the grunt) or not…

And I beat the two Grunts in Veilstone City (infront of the warehouses) with Lucas…. The double Battle… I got the HM 02 (fly) inside the warehouse
… and i cant get into the warehouse or the big building with thorns on the side… do i need a key? i cant find it anywhere…

You need to go to snowpoint city and talk to the sailor guy and he will take you to the battle zone.There, you will find the battle tower and a poke center and poke mart and some other buildings and people.You can’t go anywhere else unless you have caught every pokemon from the sinnoh region and showed professor Rowan.After you do that you will be able to go to the survival area,resort area, and stark mountain.In the grassy areas and water between these places there are pokemon in the lvl. 50’s.I’ve pretty much beaten the game ight now because there isn’t much more for me to do.

Erm well i’ve beaten the 7th gym leader and my brother did somthing, but when i go to lake aucity its just my rival there say somthing, and when i go to the warehouse, there is a grunt there and a door, and i need the key, also i all the door’s in the HQ and locked, any idea’s where i get the key im reli reli stcuk

I belive you have to go to Verity Lake where Team Galaxy is there to steal one of the legendary trio pokémon. What you need to do is beat all the people there, (many double battles) once you’ve beat the commander, go to Veilstone City and I believe a Team Galaxy Grunt will be there, he won’t battle you, but just drop something. That item is the storage key. Go to the back of the City, and go into the warehouse and open the door. Go down the stairs and in there (somewhere) you’ll find the the Galactic Key which will help you open all the door’s in the HQ of Team Galaxy.
Once you’ve reached the boss, and beat him, he’ll get the master ball! Then the boss will say that he’s through with keeping the trio and you can set them free once you step on a yellow teleporter the boss tells you to go to. In this room you have to battle a guy in front of a Big machine. Beat him, and he’ll let you press the big red button! To get out there should be a green teleporter(where before, there was to box’s) and your out!
Now you have to go to Mt. Cornet [corn-neh] (that’s how I say it beacause I’m French). Make sure you have some Pokémon who have surf, rock smash, rock climb and strength. You can enter through the Oreburgh way or the Hearthome way. I prefer the Oreburgh way because it leads you to the water you have to surf on faster. Once you’ve surfed the water, you need to climb the rocks, which you would see when you come through the Hearthome way. Now go up the stairs to the next room. In this room there are to bridges, go past the short one first, then loop around to the big one (there are some items in there you can get aswell), then loop around to the next room. This room is small just go up the stairs. In the next room there are 2 sets of stairs (besides the one you came up from) if you want the item, go to the stairs that are in front of you, then go out and up the satirs. There are 2 Grunts in this part, beat them then loop around, then you’ll head out side to the snowy tip (but not the top). Once your out side go up the stairs to avoid the grass (unless you want to go in to the grass, it’s the same) then rock climb up, but only once. The second one sends you to grass and a item in a rock. Then go to your left and use strength on the boulder. Go up throught the grass and into the cave. In there you’ll find water and a waerfall (which you can’t use because you need the HM waterfall) go up the wall with rock climb and there will be 2 more grunts, after you beat them go down the stairs and back out side. There will be a few rocks you can rock smash and a set of stairs go down them. Now this part is tricky, there are 2 ways you can go one way is to the right after you reached the cave or you could go the rock climb spot (there are 2, go to the one on the left). The cave on the right is a bit of a trick. There will be 2 more grunts and a Grunt that won’t let you pass (he’ll say he has no pokémon and hopeless, then turns around), very anoying when you don’t know what to do next, but I know what to do. You go the rock climb way where you go to left! There, you’ll have to push another boulder and you could go down 2 sets of stairs or just one they’re both the same. Then go up the stairs and in to the cave. Go through the small room and up the stairs. Then do a sharp turn and you’ll find 2 more grunts. Now Go up stairs and there will be another grunt. Go up the stairs amd out side. Now you’ve entered the spear pillar. You’ll have to beat a double battle, once you’ve beaten them you go up to see 2 of the commanders and the boss. He’ll summon the lagendary pokémon that aparently made the region of Shinno. There will be a scene where all of Shinno will be cover with lots of colours and lights. Then you can battle the Two commanders, then your rival will run in then you get to have a doulbd battle with your rival. Once you’ve finished battling the commanders, your rival will heal all your pokémon and then you’ll have to battle the boss again, once you’ve beaten him you get to try to catch the legendary pokémon that apeared so bring loads of Ultra Balls, Quick Balls and Timer Balls! Thats all I’ll tell you for now.

Ok, to solve the Flint problem, u go to the lighthouse in the city, go in the lift & it’ll bring u all the way up! Talk 2 the guy in front of the binoculars, he’s the gym leader!!! After u talk 2 him, he goes bak 2 the gym! U go bak 2 the gym & talk 2 Flint, he’ll say sum stuff & he goes away!!! ^-^ Now the hard part, wen u go u in, u hav 2 go on these buttons to make a bridge all the way to him, the last part is hard!!! Good luck!!! ;)

you have to beat the elete 4 first i have already done it, they have a a special moster in the volcano you need to get, but first you will lead a guy through there and he will take a metor first and then you talk to him again and he will return it you go back and he is there waiting for you. the ribbons society you have to have i think 7 ribbons or something. Okay I think i figured out the fucking problem everyone has been having with what to do after the 7th badge is obtained. I cant fucking believe i missed this – anyways… go back to where you got your 6th badge — remember after you beat the gym leader your rival came out and wanted to meet you in the library??? This is the event that triggers all that other shit – you have to fucking meet this cock stain in the library in order to activate all that other shit (the meeting at the lakes & the grunt at team galactic) — i hope this helps people b/c i’v been seeing people having this problem everywhere. good lucks guys!

Ok guys you who are stuck on the guy in the cave that says he has no pokemon you are in the wrong area you need to go back out side then you will see some stairs when you exit the cave well go up then left at the rock climb and keep on going left to the end and you will see a hard to see cave as it is on the side of the wall go in there and follow it round defeting the grunts once you have done this carry on up the sets of stairs and you will get to a cave opening SAVE!! then go ahead and defeat the grunts and get the legendary! hope this helps people because i was stuck for ages and ages on this bit. now to do the sky pillar. :)

@Cookie- You don’t need waterfall to reach the top of Mt. Coronet. There’s another passageway to get to the top.

You have to free the ‘Legendary Trio’ first. Go to the Galactic HQ in Vilestone City. Battle through the HQ and then battle one of the Galactic Commanders. (I forgot which one.) Then, after you defeat whatever commander, you will free Azelf, Uxie, and Mespirit. Then the cave paintings will vanish and you can go to the top of Mt. Coronet, where you have to team up with your ‘friend’ and defeat the three Galactic Commanders. (Again, I forgot their names.) Then you will have to fight Dialga/Palkia (depending on what version of the game you have). Oh yeah, I would recomend bringing LOTS of Ultra Balls. (Bring Dusk Balls if you`re playing the game at night.) Oh yeah, you might get stuck on this part `cause I did. There is a hiden Rock Climb ‘Wall’ that you need to climb up. It`s kind of hard to see. Took me a few days to get past that part. :)

ANSWER to Lost Grunt blocking way!

1. Exit that cave.

2. Walk forward until you see two rock climbing tracks, one pointing NORTH and pointing WEST (LEFT).

3. Rock climb LEFT.

4. Keep walking as far LEFT as possible.

5. Go past all the patches of grass (and stairs), you should hit a dead end. If you look closely, there is a CAVE entrance on the bottom part of the screen.

6. ENTER CAVE.
