In an industry that is forever changing, Microsoft announced quite a change today. Peter Moore, Corporate Vice President of Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft is resigning. Moore has played an instrumental part in bringing over key third party companies to the Microsoft fold during this generation of Xbox. Oddly enough, while we were shooting our video interview with him last week at E3, we brought up the point that most of if not all third party publishers and developers are making content for the Xbox 360 now and does that mean that his work in that aspect is done. While you’ll have to wait for the interview which will be published shortly to see how he responded to that, it looks like this move is indicative of his belief that his job at Microsoft has been completed.
