When we called to confirm whether or not this was just stating that Jackson would be collaborating on Halo 3 or would be working on an all new title in the series, we were told it was the latter. If the game wasn't the next Halo, they wouldn't call it the next chapter. You don't see them calling Halo Wars the next chapter in the Halo universe. This means the title Jackson is working on is much more significant than just some offshoot title that relates to Halo. While the title very well could be something different than Halo or Halo 4; this is the next Halo.
