Arriving in a mysterious magic kingdom tucked away in the Catskills, Kildare is the guest of honor at a wondrous feast. We meet a number of unique characters: Hans, a talking Hedgehog; Ember, the Burning Girl; The shadowy Hunter; the remote and icy Queen Joyous -- and a strange being claiming to be Oberon, one-time king of Faerie. But Kildare soon suspects that beneath the foundations of this enchanted land lies a dark and tragic secret.
