First, before the presidential election, there was a USA Today column that compared John McCain and Barack Obama to comic book villains.  Obama was compared to Joker.  So, I guess it was a matter of when not if a mystery artist would produce an &quot;Obama Joker&quot; poster.
 
Second, there was no outcry over President Bush being portrayed as the Joker:

So, it makes since that the mystery artist thought &quot;Hey, I can parody President Obama since everyone got away with spoofing the last guy!&quot;

Finally, I wonder if the Obama Joker poster is a backlash over the &quot;Superhero Obama&quot; image that has dominated TV, comics, etc.</description>
