Glyph Comics Award-nominees Damian Duffy and John Jennings of Day 8 are more than just comics creators. They also function as gallery curators for comics art exhibitions, and this April they’re putting together a big African-American comics exhibit called “Other Heroes,” at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. The best part is that the show features eight GCA nominees, past and present, including three-time winner Kyle Baker, two-time winner Lance Tooks, Best Comic Strip winner Keith Knight, and five-time nominee Shepherd Hendrix of Stagger Lee. There are also plenty of other big names, past and present. This should be HUGE.
