Damn it, I love this book!
It’s so much retro-cheesecake fun. Really big and exciting, just a blast of nostalgic fun.

I am somewhat confused. If the story of Onslaught reborn took place after House of M and House of M took place after Avengers Diassembled (which included the Ragnarok storyline in the Thor series). How does the god of thunder fit in the storyline?

That Thor is connected to Franklin’s world.

the answer to the thor question may be that its the thor from franklins universe or that the 616 thor is alive again(getting new series by ed mcguiness this year, such a dissapointing artist for thor). I don’t intend to buy this book but can probably summarize the series:onslaught(like several villains from house of m) was revived/created/freed by wanda. this is an instance where this makes sense since wanda is a mutant and entered onslaught in his energy cloud, empowered by mutants form. onslaught will either be weakened so he can be used every few months by different writers like venom in the 90s, be killed and forgotten again, or leave earth. considering onslaught transcended his human form and created a miniatuized sun on the earths surface i’d say he’d make a great villain in marvel space post annihilation. since galactus is dead I think onslaught would make the perfect psychotic genocide machine to instill fear in the universe. franklin richard is also likely to die. this is probably the infamous second genie to put back in the bottle(not the spiderman marriage)because it ages them to much and franflin remaining 8 years old forever(or whatever age he is)is terribly dull for stories. sue and reeds marriage falling apart right before their first born is killed is great for thier character dynamic and I think joey q knows this. maybe i’m wrong and franklin will instead get shunted off to another dimension with faster time and come back a teenager. I just assume for now loeb will use this as a therapy for his personal tragedy. he has my condolences.
man he cant draw February 3rd, 2007
Liefeld can’t draw. My god- it must take him 12 secs per page to make this stuff. And everyone has the same angry expression on their face.
Please make it stop.

Everyone looks the same. Is this supposed to be a metaphor ?

Liefeld…sigh. As far as Ed mcguiness, being a dissapointing artist for Thor, I can’t go with that just yet. I have to see his version of Thor. But I’ll take anything to get the bad test out of my mouth of Liefelds drawings. I like his design of thor I just don’t like the way he draws, it’s just not right.

He recycles the same 4 poses over and over. The same poses he used 15 years ago. He always uses the ultra close up. For a guy that “thinks outside the box” as he always states as a defense there are never any backgrounds in his work. Landscape provides atmosphere which are always lacking in his work. The result is forgettable books with bad artwork.
