I found the first few chapters of Kaze Hikaru a little slow, but really started to enjoy it during the second volume. I think it's a story that works better in tankubon format than serialized in a magazine. 'Course, I'm a sucker for samurai dramas, too, so that probably predisposed me to liking it!

I read the preview of Yurara in Shojo Beat and had the same opinion, basically. The guys were stereotypes, but they were really cute! Definitely a guilty pleasure.

Although I could never get into Kaze Hikaru. The art and humor just don't appeal to me for some reason!
