Yeah yeah… I know I know…

Several bloggers (including Heidi and Elayne) are reporting that Cheryl Lynn Eaton has abdicated her position as head of the Ormes Society, the black women’s comics group she founded. A visit to her website reveals this post, which sounds very much like she’s getting out of the game. If so, that would be a shame. In the brief time I have known her, I’ve found Cheryl to be a delightful person, very savvy, very much down with the cause of getting women of color in comics their due. We could use more than a few like her.

John Jennings and Damian Duffy, who curated the “Other Heroes” comics exhibit last year, are back with a new exhibit, called “Out of Sequence: Underrepresented Voices in American Comics,” once again held at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. More info here.

G. Willow Wilson talks about her Vixen mini.

Rob Vollmar talks about the Bluesman trade.
