New York Comic-Con 2007, Bigger and Better?

Reed Exhibitions has announced that the 2007 New York Comic Con will be held in the main hall of the Jacob Javits Center, which is double the size of the 2006 NYCC. However, it should be noted that the maximum capacity of the space last year was 10,000 — and 21,000 people reportedly showed up on Saturday alone. Naturally, Reed is touting the space’s wider aisles and promising new registration procedures (attendees who pre-register will be receive badges so they won’t have to wait in the registration line, etc).
On the plus side, NYCC 2008 will be in April and Reed has already booked the entire top floor of the Javits.
NYCC 2007 will be held February 23-25. The main guest of honor will be Stan Lee.
