New Nichelle Nichols film on eBay

Here’s an unusual story. A new film called Lady Magdalene’s, starring Nichelle Nichols (and I don’t think I need to explain to you who she is), is being auctioned on eBay by its writer-director. Don’t get in on it unless you’ve got a few million lying around, though – the starting bid is $1 million. Link includes a trailer, a music video, and links to articles.

Thanks so much for the mention of our new film, Lady Magdalene’s.
I hate to have to offer a correction to someone who’s being so generous, but the movie industry is very specific in its terminology, and nowadays a 24-frame 1080i digital video shooting format is considered the equivalent of 35 millimeter film, and considered of theatrical release quality. This is the process Lady Magdalene’s was shot in — the same digital format that Superman Returns was shot in.
We’ve never intended Lady Magdalene’s to be a direct-to-video and we’re looking for a theatrical release before any other distribution.
Thanks,
J. Neil Schulman
