I know nothing about The Darkness but I know writer Phil Hester – he wrote a dynamite mini-series called Deep Sleeper that featured a minority character, and of course he’s the writer of Desperado’s The Atheist, so if CBR’s bothering to devote an entire article about this, I’m willing to bet Hester plans on keeping him around awhile.
