I’m kinda disappointed. Seemed like a lot of folks was reppin’ hard for Emily, but y’all was just talkin’! I’m sorry, I make no bones about my preference when it comes to the Deschanel sisters, but if y’all wanna side with the hipster-bait, fine by me!
Inspired by a conversation me and LeRon had during our last PCS Podcast, now we want you all to decide . . . . who is the hotter Deschanel sister?!?!?!?
It’s the new year, people! Time new future ex-wifes, cotdammit! In this edition, we’ve got two ladies who will actually be dukin’ it out at the box office next week, so I though it’d be cool to get an idea on what folks will be checking out.
Kate Beckinsale
Kate returns to the Underworld franchise with Underworld: Awakening 3D, and while some people like to just write the films off as Blade/Resident Evil knockoffs, I’ve enjoyed all the films for being fairly straightforward action films with some decent action, impressive creature effects done practical, with mininal CGI, and it’s always a kick to see Bill Nighy chew scenery!!! (although we’ll have to settle for Sardo Numpsey this time around!)
VS.
Gina Carano
While Kate’s good at playing a badass fighter, Carano IS a badass fighter, currently ranked 3rd in Women’s MMA. For all those critics that don’t like those waify action heroines, let’s hope Carano comes through with a knockout with Haywire
So, we’ve come to the end of the year, and it’s time for all you to put your votes down on who you think is the Future Ex-Wife of 2011. I think I’ve chosen a good selection of ladies that have all been having a great year in their respective fields, or some that I think y’all should be paying more attention to next year.
So, I had to curse out one of my peeps over this most recent showdown, and let him know what he needed to do to contribute to the quality of this feature. As suspected, all he did was talk a whole lotta tuss, and I’m now in the position of having to choose a challenger for this week’s showdown. . . . again.
The Champion – Lyndsy Fonseca
VS.
The Challenger – Maimouna Youssef
She’s worked with everyone from The Roots, Mos Def, to Jill Scott, Zap Mama, and Nas. Not to mention her recent collaboration with DC’s own Gods’Illa, “You To Have To Be A Star”. Girl Put in work!
I see y’all came back in force for this one! And this is what happens when you help me out! Remember, I never vote on these, ’cause it’s all for you. So if anyone of you guys got any picks for who you want Lyndsy to go up against this week, you got ’til tomorrow to chime it. So get on it!
Another week, another showdown. And again I stress, all y’all people who just wanna come and oggle without voting, you’re kind of ruining it for everyone. Even worse, the people who don’t wanna provide me with possible challengers(but always wanna rake me over the coals for my selections. Haters!)!
THe Champion – Skin Diamond
VS.
The Challenger – Lyndsy Fonseca
Reader suggestions, people!!!! And not a bad one if I say so myself. I’ve been a fan of CW’s Nikita series from day one, and this current season has certainly showcased Fonseca more than I would have expected.
