Ms. Marvel #15 Strikes Like Lightning…And Sells Out!
Marvel is pleased to announce that Ms. Marvel #15, the first chapter of the “Ready, A.I.M., Fire!” storyline, has sold out at Diamond. This marks the third consecutive sell-out for Ms. Marvel, which ties into both the smash Mighty Avengers series and the wildly popular Initiative storyline. This three-part story, which also stars Avengers teammate Wonder Man and cult-fave M.O.D.O.K., kicks off as Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, attempts to prove she’s the best super hero and sets out to take down the terrorist group A.I.M. once and for all. Fans and critics continue to take notice of Ms. Marvel, as the series ties into some of Marvel’s biggest storylines!
Writer Brian Reed said, “Every month we’ve got more readers. Every month Ms. Marvel becomes more of a key player in the Marvel Universe – Coincidence? I think not! If she’s leading the Mighty Avengers, single handedly battling A.I.M., or helping form Omega Flight – it’s all happening in the pages of Ms. Marvel.”
“Three sell-outs in a row? And growing readership numbers with each issue? From the arrival of Aaron Lopresti and Matt Ryan as our interior artists to Greg Horn delivering eye-catching covers to writer Brian Reed kicking off Carol’s own part of the Initiative, the creative team has really come together to invite fans on this wild ride,” explained series editor Bill Rosemann. “On behalf of the entire team, thanks to all the readers and retailers who have joined the fun. Wait a minute, did I say ‘fun’? What’s so fun about fighting an ionic-powered possible love interest who’s been mentally hi-jacked by M.O.D.O.K.? Then again, maybe Ms. Marvel’s unique solution to the brain-washing is!”
Please note that Ms. Marvel #15 may still be available at the retailer level. Marvel has no plans to go back to press on the issue at this time. As Ms. Marvel and her S.H.I.E.L.D. strike force head into action against M.O.D.O.K, is there any way Ms. Marvel can survive her toughest battle yet? If not, the Mighty Avengers might need a new leader!

Why would they have Wonder Man dressing like an ’80s business woman again after Kurt Busiek and George Perez fixed him? Is there a reason for this? I wish Ms Marvel smashes his face open with one of her boobs. That’d teach him to wear matching red leather jacket and red sunglasses after 1983!

Oh, never mind. I just noticed he’s again wearing his Busiek/Perez outfit. I’m so impatient…I never check my facts before going into a geek huff.

Yes, Miss Marvel. That’s it. Solve all you problems by kissing them. When will these comic-type woman realize they don’t have to resort to whore-tactics to get ahead in life. Girls, you don’t have to put out to prove your the bestest super-hero lady in all the world, no sir.
