Howard – I finally viewed the last episode of Flash Forward on Hulu. I have to say I was extremely disappointed. After a very, very slow development of characters, almost to the point of no development they switched gears. I feel the writers moved the story between Mark and Olivia ‘fast forward’ from, “We’ll never let the future we saw come between us” to “Hey, you’re going to cheat on me, and you’re going to got back to being a drunk, so let’s end it now.” I feel as though their argument came out of nowhere.

Honestly, I’m now watching the show, because I don’t have to make a ‘date’ to watch it. I can catch it on my DVR or Hulu.

I caught onto Lost via Blu-Ray so I have room for plenty of other stuff out there, but I’m glad to see Lost come to a Close although I think it would have been a great 1-2 season series, but networks love a cash cow. Hopefully the end is as satisfactory as the build-up. And that’s all I’ll add to that.

As for Flash Forward, still watching it, still enjoying it. The Noh Watch is on hold for a bit while I catch up from the SD Asian Film Festival.

Maria’s right; the episodes of FlashForward end pretty hard, then as you think the next episode will pick up with that same note, they move onto something else.

The new threads do tie into this bigger picture properly, but it certainly has spikes full of highs and lows as far as the tension is concerned.

Its as if they’re trying to achieve what 24 does; though in 24 they manage the tension constantly escalating with a crisis to outshine the previous episode’s crisis each and every single time.

Jon – thanks, the link worked, I just didn’t initially see it on the right.

You are not the only one comparing Flash Forward to LOST – but I actually think they are 2 different shows. I also think, LOST broke the mold. They created something unique. I believe they devised the whole technique of a ‘backstory’ and no one does it better. The audience is invested in the characters contrary to Flash Forward whose main character’s name I can’t actually even remember now.

I’m still going to give Flash Forward a bit more time -

Honestly there isn’t much of anything to see (a sad fact which I have updated my post text to reflect) — I guess I’m just so in love with Lost that my heart has no room for Flash Forward!

Jon – I didn’t catch Flash Forward last night either – I’ll check it out on Hulu. I’m not giving up on the show yet. While they haven’t really developed any of the characters – I’m hoping they’ll turn it around. In any event, the story line still surprises me during the last 6 minutes of each episode – enough so that I keep coming back.

The trailer you posted for LOST doesn’t play – where can I see it?
