Moon Knight Headed For The Small Screen

Posted by: on October 26, 2006 at 11:02 am

Marvel Studios is bringing the cult comic book hero Moon Knight to television, partnering with the Vancouver-based production company, No Equal, to develop the project.

“We are delighted to be in business with Marvel Entertainment and believe that ‘Moon Knight’ will make a compelling and long-lasting television series,” said veteran television producer Larry Sugar of No Equal, in an official announcement.

Having recently returned to comics courtesy of crime fiction novelist Charlie Huston, and artist David Finch, Moon Knight first debuted in Marvel Comics in the mid-70s.

Hopefully, the show doesn’t get picked up by Spike TV.
