@Josiah - for the super hero it is called a hero brutality were they hit the opponent tons of times not killing them but hitting them lots of times.....

Okay, so I’ve done some digging, and it looks like the DCU characters’ “finishing” moves leave their opponents pummeled but still breathing.

It’s still weird, though.

So if Sonya beats Superman, she can kill him by twisting his neck if you push the right buttons?

And even Batman will have finishing moves? Even if the whole point of the character is that he doesn’t do things like that?

Way to license wisely DC.
