Mike Wieringo Passes Away

Posted by: on August 13, 2007 at 2:12 pm

The comic world has suffered a great loss with the sudden death of artist Mike Wieringo. According to Newsarama, Wieringo suffered a heart attack this past Sunday. The death is especially shocking, as Wieringo was only 44 years-old, and considerably health-conscious.

Best known for his work on DC titles including The Flash and Robin, Wieringo would later go on to co-create Tellos, with Todd Dezago, as well as reunite with Flash collaborator Mark Waid on Marvel’s Fantastic Four.

Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
