The sad thing is, there are some things within Vampire Knight that are actually very good, as well as things that are deeply, boringly ordinary and a few that are just plain squicky. But I read it mostly for Zero, I have to admit, Zero and his pretty, pretty angst .

I have massive, massive guilt over even having read Hot Gimmick, much less liking parts of it! I think of Vampire Knight and Initial D as my actual guilty pleasures in the best sense of the phrase (that I’m not actually very guilty about .
