News Wire: Tokyopop Sponsors Panel at Kinokuniya NY

For all you cosplaying Noo Yawkers out there… Here’s the scoop on an event Tokyopop is sponsoring at Kinokuniya’s brand new Manhattan store.

Join TOKYOPOP creators for an exciting evening celebrating the influence of Japanese popular culture on American culture! Kinokuniya bookstore’s newest location in Bryant Park, New York City will host the event, which will feature a panel of TOKYOPOP original manga artists moderated by Roland Kelts, author of the acclaimed book Japanamerica. Hiroki Otsuka (Boys of Summer), James Barry (Warriors: The Manga), and Melissa DeJesus (Sokora Refugees) will be on hand discuss their experiences creating original manga for TOKYOPOP. They will also join Roland Kelts for a special signing session following the panel…
