@Jason Hirata - Actually, no, Jason, I'd still recommend the movie even more than the manga. They are both worthwhile, but the movie is extraordinary. Probably it comes down also to whether you prefer watching anime to reading manga, though in general I'll admit to preferring manga, and I'd still rate the movie higher.

So would you suggest buying this over watching the movie? Probably not, though, since you really just watch the show for the visuals.
