hahah i love Chesperito! Well i have no idea what he is saying but I got the reference the first time i saw the Simpsons. Ah, microwave filled, TV youth.

Anyway thanks for the chance and also take note that it is intentionally called Azteca not Mexico, even by the Man. It might give you an idea of what is going on.

Good point with Wolverine and the inner monologuing. That’s exactly why I felt like Whedon had him down in Astonishing’s second arc, where there’s a whole page of Wolverine in action, with a single panel of inner monologue: “I really like beer.”

Wow, that was definitely the most emotional review yet! Awesome! I just wanted to head some thigns off at the pass:

you don’t have to read the beginning text. You can jump in and figure out that things are a little different. the text was just if you wanted more after reading the issue.

Who said the mexicans are evil? they re getting framed by black bart and they aren’t happy with texas in general but that is what the case was in hte real 1860s. now the French on the other hand…

Seriously, the Azteca nation is no more villainous than the British Empire. Hopefully you will come back to see how that develops.

Oh and sorry about the humor. We thought the jokes were funny but it isn’t a Comedy Book anymore than the Johnny Quest cartoon was a Comedy Cartoon

Another good week despite no Laura. I liked the differing viewpoints on Daredevil and Elephantmen, etc; although apparenlty I’m with Adan on both of those! I’m also behind Adan getting riled up over the Mexicans and Orcs lol.
