Kick-Ass To Continue Not To Kick Ass?

The first few images of Kick Ass: The Movie are leaking on to the web… This particular one (to the right) is the stuntman, so no worries, our hero isn’t going all bald.
I’ve got to say, I really hope they make some mention of how silly the costume looks in the movie… But they probably won’t.
Also, I hope the comic gets good at some point, but maybe that’s just me. More pictures, and some on set video are online at SlashFilm, so go check ‘em out already!

You aren’t liking Kick-Ass? It’s one of my current favorites. And maybe the movie costume will look better once it has it has the hero’s blood all over it

I have mixed feelings about the whole comics into films thing, particularly superheroes.
Dont superheroes just look silly in real life?
This title hasn’t been impressive to me, and I feel like Millar, who seems to have a healthy resentment for traditional superhero fare and all its trappings, was more worried about creating a property that would translate to film than creating a property that would appeal to comics audiences. He knew that no matter how mediocre it was, his pal Joey would pimp it for him.
