I like the fact that Lana and now Lex know Clark's secret. But I would also like Jimmy and Lois to know it also before Smallville ends. And most importantly of all I want Smallville to end with Lex still knowing Clark's secret. However, what I don't like is the fact that a) Lex cannot be redeemed and b) he is currently inhabiting the body of Oliver Queen.

WHAT?!?!? What episode did that happen?!?! Admittedly, there are a few this season that I haven't seen.

Your idea is actually really cool CamRoCo, if i were the producers thats how i would end smallville. Except for the whole dying part because in the comics superman lives on for a few centuries (remember the whole legion of superheroes story). so as cool as it is, i don't think it'll work unless his death is set a few centuries in the future.

In my opinion a good way to end the series is the audience finding out that "Smallville" is part of the multiverse.Clark would also find out he is part of something big. The show would also explain what the multiverse is for those who are uninformed to what the multiverse is. Since the show is completely different than comic book and films it only seems fitting. Than again that just my opinion.

Thanks! (hopefully, I'm not forced to change it in light of the female objectification controversies in comics recently!)

That one pic of Esther Baxter looking like Elektra, is better than the movie itself Kayode. Just had to throw that out there.

"Smallville's" become that show that I'm doing other things while its on- using the laptop, cleaning the fish tank, so on so forth. At least Lana's given enough turmoil now that she doesn't stop the show dead every time she comes onscreen, but at this point I just don't care all that much.

Occassionally they'll hit something out of the park enough for me to notice ("Just a more bizzare version" springs to mind), but I've felt for about a year and a half now that its shit or get off the pot time- time for Clark to disappear and surface some ten years later- who the hell wouldn't recognize him now, and like Peter Parker in the Spidey films, is there anyone that doesn't know who he is at this point?

I also have to ask if the show couldn't just become "Metropolis" at this point following the logical flow, I mean, it looks like effects aren't an issue for the most part, and we've set up about all the character developments there are to set up.

I really loved this show for the first three seasons, then... I have a great way to end the series though, IMO. I always thought it would be awesome if the last scene of the last episode ended by panning out to a close up of Clark's eyes as they close, the camera would pan out again and the viewer would see Superman and Doomsday laying dead in the streets of Metropolis. Thus implying that the series was actually Clark's life flashing before his eyes right after he took the killing blow from Doomsday, cool huh? Plus, I want to see him wear the costume at least one time, I am such a geek!

I still weep for Sam Jones III after that episode! It's like that damn episode of Everwood where Hannah's all like, "I can't believe my mom got me this Mercury Milan for my birthday!", followed by a commercial for "you know what"!! God forbid television shows be a little more subtle when they whore themselves out for bigtime Corporations!

I enjoyed the first few seasons of Smallville, but haven't watched it in ages. For me, the real strength was the cast: Michael Rosenbaum, Alison Mack, Annette O'Toole, and John Glover created interesting, appealing characters. But the various permutations of the Clark-Lana love triangle grew stale, as did the "freak of the week" storylines, stunt appearances by other DC characters, and the not-very-subtle shills for WB recording artists: "Hey, it's Remy Zero! I can't believe that they're playing our prom! This is my favorite song!" "Yeah, mine too! Do you think their new album is available at the Smallville Sam Goody--I mean, General Sotre--yet?"
